Entangling Vines Zen
A Psychologically-Minded Zen Sitting Group in the Heart of Hoboken, New Jersey
Who We Are
As an affiliate group of the Ordinary Mind Zendo in New York City, Entangling Vines Zen provides beginner instruction and weekly opportunities for zazen and kinhin (walking meditation) practice in the lineage and tradition of our teacher, Barry Magid, one of Charlotte Joko Beck's dharma heirs, and the author of Ordinary Mind, Ending the Pursuit of Happiness and Nothing is Hidden.Hope Blosser started her Zen practice in the early 1990s and has studied with Rinzai and Soto schools for the past three decades, most recently serving for three years as the resident director of Ordinary Mind Zendo in NYC before getting married and moving to Hoboken. She offers various programs online as well as in person that integrate western psychology with rigorous Zen practice.Have a question?
